The vasculitis sample collection consists of DNA, plasma and serum samples from participants aged 16 and above with a confirmed diagnosis of ANCA vasculitis – granulomatosis with polyangitis (Wegener’s granulomatosis), microscopic polyangitis, Churg Strauss syndrome. Ethnicity is not being restricted.
Samples are being collected under the leadership of Dr Richard Watts (Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust) at 13 different sites in England for the Immunogenetic factors in Primary Systemic Vasculitis (GENVAS) study UKCRN Portfolio 2885.
