Crisis

The Chronic Renal Insufficiency Standards Implementation Study (CRISIS) sample collection consists of DNA samples from participants aged 18 and above with chronic kidney disease. Participants are recruited from Salford Royal Hospital. Ethnicity is not restricted.

The samples are being collected by a Salford Royal Hospital based team under the joint leadership of Dr Donal O’Donoghue (nephrologist and PI, Salford Royal Foundation Trust) Dr Rachel Middleton (nephrologist) and Professor Philip Kalra (nephrologist). Key members of the team include Beverly Lane (Trials Nurse), Dr Darren Green (Research Fellow), Dr Rob Oliver (scientist) and Julie Hudson (scientist).
