Salford Renal Study
The Salford Renal Study consists of dna from participants with chronic kidney disease stages 3-5 (eGFR 15-59 ml/min, not on dialysis). Participants are recruited from secondary care clinics at Salford Royal Foundation Trust which cover a population of 1.55 million across the North of Gt Manchester (Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Wigan, part of Trafford and Salford). Participants are between 18 and 85 years of age and ethnicity is not restricted.
The samples are being collected under the leadership of Professor Philip Kalra (University of Manchester).
