Fanconi Leukaemia
The Fanconi Anaemia sample collection consists of DNA samples from participants aged 16 and under with a diagnosis of acute leukaemia. Ethnicity or geographic distribution of participants was not restricted during sample collection, however the majority of participants were from the North West of England.
The samples were collected under the leadership of Dr Stefan Meyer (University of Manchester) in order to study inherited and somatic disruption of the Fanconi anaemia (FA)/BRCA pathway in childhood leukaemia.
Collection commenced: 2003 (completed 2008)
