Our research

The Centre for Genomic Medicine in the Institute of Human Development is interlinked with 'Genetic Medicine', one of the largest clinical genetics departments in the UK, based in St Mary's Hospital within the Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

There are close links between the academic and clinical units and the 'Genetic and developmental medicine' theme of the Manchester Biomedical Research Centre.
