Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit

On the same site as the Willink laboratories, the Blood and Marrow Transplant unit is run by Dr Rob Wynn with a particular interest in haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) for metabolic disorders. Over 40 patients have been treated by HSCT and Manchester is a major contributor to the European experience of this treatment for MPS IH.
