It maintains strong links with the School of Computer Science, and has three MRI scanners (two 3T scanners - at Salford Royal Foundation Trust and the NIHR/WT Manchester CRF - and a 1.5T at the Wolfson Molecular Imaging centre); two PET cameras at the Wolfson Molecular Imaging Centre along with a preclinical PET scanner and laboratory facilities; and a 7T preclinical MRI scanner in the Stopford Building; further information can be found at Imaging Facilities.

We have extensive collaborations with radiology and clinical departments in the university teaching hospitals.
