Our vision

The Centre for Haematological Oncology is focused on research into blood cancers within the Institute of Cancer Sciences and its members are internationally competitive in this field.

Our vision is to develop new and better treatments and diagnostic tools for patients with leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma so that survival and quality of life for individuals with these life threatening illnesses are improved.

We are also very interested in minimising the toxicity of therapy for patients with haematological cancer and have a programme of research in this area.
