We have a streamlined process for nested recruitment trials, which involves the following:
- Initial discussions to check compatibility between the host trial, and our MRC START recruitment interventions
- Agreement with host trial on the most suitable recruitment intervention
- Discussion of options for delivering the nested trial
Hosting a nested recruitment trial does involve some additional work, usually for trial managers, but our streamlined process is designed to minimise burden on trial teams. Our standardised process has the benefits of significant preliminary development and testing.
