Postgraduate study
We have the largest programme of postgraduate education in occupational health anywhere in the UK, offering courses that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of students planning to train in occupational medicine and occupational hygiene.
Our courses are offered as part-time, blended learning programmes. We use a mix of modalities in our postgraduate teaching and learning and our web-based instruction includes online learning modules, webinar tutorials, online discussion forums and other tools designed to support learning from a distance.
Besides the opportunity to achieve University qualifications, many of our learners use our courses to prepare for their professional qualifications in these disciplines, such as the Membership (MFOM) of the Faculties of Occupational Medicine of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of London and Ireland.
We offer the following learning opportunities:
- Diploma in Occupational Medicine (CPD) which prepares students for the Faculty of Occupational Medicine's DOccMed.
- Occupational Medicine (MSc/AdvDip/PGCert)
- Occupational Hygiene (MSc/PGDip/PGCert)
- Public Health (Occupational Health) (MPH/PGDip/PGCert)
