Dr Hamish Hunter, Clinical Research Fellow
Dr Hamish Hunter undertook his preclinical training in medicine at the University of St Andrews achieving a BSc with first class honours in medical science. His clinical years were spent at the University of Manchester, graduating in 2001. Following medical rotations in Manchester he moved to the Mersey Deanery to complete his specialist training in dermatology. He is currently working as a Clinical Research Fellow in dermatology at the University of Manchester.
His MD is investigating brain-skin interactions in psoriasis with a particular focus on the effect of psychosocial stress on this condition and the neuroinflammatory manifestations of psoriasis.
