THOR-gP: 'Case of the Quarter' guidelines
In the other schemes within THOR, quarterly reports often contain a ‘Case of the Quarter’. These are short reports of around 250 words that are written about a case of interest seen by reporters to the schemes. It is an opportunity to inform fellow reporters of unusual cases and share experiences in treatment and diagnosis.
We also encourage other reporters to comment on colleagues’ reports. We would be very pleased if this feature could be included in THOR-gP, and we would be very grateful if any of you would like to submit a case for publication. ‘Case of the Quarter’ reports may contain further details about the case (though we ensure the patient remains unidentifiable), so informed patient consent is required for a ‘Case of the Quarter’.
