Centre for Biostatistics seminars

The Centre for Biostatistics organises half-yearly half-day seminars in March and October with three external guest speakers.

We also run an internal seminar series on the second Monday of each month, and host occasional special seminars with guest speakers.

Centre for Biostatistics workshops

The Centre for Biostatistics runs a free workshop series to disseminate new statistical methodology to researchers in the Faculty and wider University.

Royal Statistical Society Manchester local group seminars

The RSS Manchester local group runs a series of six seminars during the academic year. Traditionally the Centre for Biostatistics seminar held in October is a joint meeting with the RSS Manchester Local Group.  Details of additional RSS seminars related to biostatistics, which may be of interest, are available at the RSS Manchester local group website or by contacting the RSS Manchester local group chairman richard.emsley@manchester.ac.uk.
