We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers with an interest in primary care research to join us here at PRIMER, either as a full member or as a corresponding member.
You don't need to have any expertise in research to get involved but if you do want to learn more about research we can provide training.
We have developed a person specification and role description which should help you decide whether joining PRIMER is for you. Our terms of reference outline what is expected of members and explains the format of meetings, membership, and our ground rules for working in PPI.
If you would like to get involved:
- Please contact Sally Giles
- You will be asked to complete a form (which you can download here) - this is to help us find out more about your background interests and any previous experience of research. There will then be an informal meeting, either face-to-face or by telephone, to talk to you about getting involved and answer any questions you may have.
If you live outside of the North West you can look for opportunities to get involved in research in your local area through the People in Research website.
