Monthly Online Journal Club
Our journal clubs are and informal forum for discussing a recent pertinent publication. They consist of a short presentation followed by an interactive discussion of thoughts and ideas arising from the paper.
Journal clubs take place on the 3rd Friday of each month from 1-2pm
The next journal club will take place on: Friday 19th June. Jenna Littlejohn will lead a discussion about the following paper: Applebaum et al (2019). Long-term subjective loneliness in adults after hearing loss treatment. Int J Audiol, 58(8), 464-467
If you plan to join the online journal club, email gabrielle.saunders@manchester.ac.uk. I will send you a link for the meeting and a copy of the paper that will be discussed. You can read it in advance if you like, but this is certainly not a requirement.
Don’t be intimidated if you have never attended a journal club. We will keep the topics clinically applicable, no preparation is required and while we encourage interaction, that is optional too.
